How to Use This Report

R4 is a practical buyer outreach tool — use it to prioritise, compare and approach buyers

Before Part 1, check the Client Questionnaire & Requirements section. It records the exporter-specific criteria used to define buyer fit and any companies the client has asked us to exclude.

Quick Ways to Navigate

R4 can be a long report because it contains a separate researched profile and outreach pack for every qualified buyer. You do not need to read it from beginning to end.

Use the Table of Contents to move between the four parts, the Master Buyer Table in Part 1 to jump directly to a specific buyer, and the Previous / Back to Executive Buyer List / Next controls inside the buyer sections. Each buyer profile also links directly to its own outreach pack.

The aim is simple: the report may be detailed, but finding the buyer, evidence or email you need should take only a few clicks.

1 · Start with Part 1

See the overall buyer opportunity and the relative ranking of the qualified prospects.

2 · Open Part 2

Use the profiles when you need the evidence, company background and buyer-specific assessment.

3 · Work from Part 3

Sort the buyer set by overall score or by the commercial factor that matters most to you.

4 · Execute in Part 4

Open the outreach pack, review the rationale, send the buyer-specific email and manage the response in CRM.

Simple working principle: Part 1 prioritises. Part 2 explains. Part 3 compares and organises. Part 4 turns the intelligence into outreach.

Purpose · Benefit · Scope

From buyer data to a campaign you can run

Purpose

Identify credible buyers in the chosen market, assess their relative opportunity and turn the strongest evidence into a practical sales approach.

What you gain

A prioritised buyer campaign with company evidence, named contacts, comparable assessments, CRM-ready data and buyer-specific email outreach.

Scope

Up to 25 qualified buyers, depending on the number of suitably verified prospects and available evidence. Only buyers that pass the practical qualification gate are included.

Qualification principle: before any buyer reaches the final R4 list, it must pass the qualification gate. Disqualifying issues include, for example, an unverifiable business identity, inactivity or dissolution, insolvency, a material sanctions concern, or another fundamental suitability problem. Any buyer with a disqualifying issue is excluded from the final report and is not scored. At least one relevant named contact with a usable business contact route must also be identified before the buyer qualifies for inclusion.

Executive Report

The overall buyer opportunity and where the strongest qualified prospects appear to sit.

Executive Report

Overall Buyer Opportunity

This section provides the high-level view of the qualified buyer set and shows where the strongest comparative opportunities appear to sit. The ranking supports the likelihood of meaningful engagement; it does not predict which company will respond first.

R4 principle: the score supports a practical commercial decision; it does not create an illusion of mathematical certainty.

Master Buyer Table

Representative excerpt: Three ranking rows are shown to demonstrate the Executive Report. A commissioned R4 normally contains approximately 25 qualified buyers; only one linked buyer profile and one linked outreach pack are included here.

How to Read the Table

Overall rank

A comparative ordering of the qualified buyer set based on the locked eight-factor assessment in Part 2 below.

Profile & outreach links

Open either the detailed buyer profile in Part 2 or the buyer-specific outreach pack in Part 4.

Quick Ways to Navigate

The Master Buyer Table is the report’s main buyer index. Use the Profile link to open the detailed evidence in Part 2, or the Outreach link to go directly to that buyer’s email pack in Part 4. Within the buyer sections, use Previous / Back to Executive Buyer List / Next to move quickly between companies.

Campaign Prioritisation

The strongest-ranked buyers deserve attention, but every company included has already passed the qualification gate and is considered worth approaching. Real buyer response is inherently unpredictable, so Part 4 is designed to launch the full qualified set rather than wait for one rank group to respond before contacting the next.

Next: Buyer Profiles. Part 2 takes you from the overall ranking into the detail behind each qualified buyer — the evidence, assessment and specific commercial opportunity for that company.
← Executive ReportProfile Example →
Part 2 of 4

Buyer Profiles

Comparable evidence and assessment for every qualified buyer.

Assessment Basis

Each qualified buyer is assessed against your product, supply capabilities and commercial requirements using a consistent eight-factor framework.

FactorWeightQuestion the factor asks
F1 · Supplier Accessibility15%How open does the buyer appear to be to working with additional suppliers?
F2 · Purchasing Activity & Scale15%Does this buyer buy often enough, and on a big enough scale, to be worth the exporter’s time?
F3 · Commercial Stability & Payment Risk Indicators15%Are there manageable commercial or payment-related warning signs to consider?
F4 · Product & Channel Fit15%Does the buyer’s business model, product range and customer base fit the exporter’s offer?
F5 · Sourcing Relevance10%Does the buyer’s sourcing pattern show relevant experience with the exporter’s country, region or comparable supply markets?
F6 · Shipment / Order Fit10%Does the buyer’s purchasing pattern look practical for the exporter’s capacity and order size?
F7 · Timing & Supply Fit10%Does the buyer’s purchasing pattern fit when and how the exporter can realistically supply?
F8 · Contact Accessibility10%How strong is the factual contact coverage and how many practical routes exist to reach the buyer?

Five rating bands

Very Strong · Strong · Good · Limited · Weak. Only the fixed score ladder for each weighting is permitted.

Not Applicable (N/A) and Not Scorable / Evidence Limited (NS)

If a factor is genuinely not applicable (N/A), or is relevant but cannot be scored reliably because evidence is limited (NS), it is excluded and the remaining scorable factors are proportionally rebased to 100.

Evidence and assessment window: transaction-based analysis normally uses the most recent 24 months available, with latest-12-month and preceding-12-month comparisons where relevant. The buyer assessment combines that evidence with current company, sourcing, commercial-risk, product-fit and contact information. Shipment count and volume are never treated as interchangeable.
Profile order & navigation: buyer profiles are presented in final ranked order, highest-ranked first. The “Buyer Report X of 25” number is the buyer’s ranking position, not the order in which research was completed. Previous Report / Next Report therefore move through the ranked buyer list.

How to Read a Buyer Profile

Each profile follows the same sequence: Summary → Company Profile → Buying Evidence → Supplier Network & Market Overlap → Eight-Factor Assessment → Opportunity Interpretation → Contacts → Outreach link.

Company Profile & Operations

Legal Company
DAYKA & HACKETT LLC · California domestic limited liability company.
Current Status
Active · California company no. 200534210087. Current OpenCorporates record supplied during production confirms Active status, Reedley registered address and Kyle K. Hackett as agent.
Founded / Incorporated
8 December 2005 · California, United States.
Head Office / Registered Address
42874 Road 64, Reedley, CA 93654 · [Company telephone available in commissioned report].
Ownership / Group
A Frutura company following the 2021 majority-ownership transaction. Frutura is backed by RRG Capital Management and operates a multi-country fresh-fruit platform.
Current Leadership
Tim Dayka · Chief Executive Officer on current company material. Kyle Hackett · Chief Operating Officer / senior operating leadership. Stephen Fink · President, Table Grapes & Avocados, Frutura. Tony Calvillo · Global Sourcing Manager.
Financial Information
No credible current standalone Dayka revenue figure is publicly available. Frutura Group reported approximately US$1.430 billion 2024 revenue and 429 million kg of products sold; these are parent-group figures, not Dayka standalone revenue.
Employees
Current LinkedIn company band: 51–200 employees, with approximately 61 visible employees. This is platform data, not an audited payroll total. Frutura Group reported 5,391 FT/PT and 23,988 seasonal employees in 2024.
Sanctions Screening
No relevant sanctions hit identified in open-source screening of Dayka & Hackett, Frutura, Tim Dayka and Kyle Hackett. This is not a certified legal sanctions clearance.
Adverse Media / Litigation
Material historical former-management adverse media exists: former managing member Ralph Hackett pleaded guilty in 2021 to aiding and abetting mail fraud in a crop-insurance scheme; reviewed government evidence did not establish Dayka corporate participation. A 2019 California DFPI revocation/settlement entry also exists with limited present-day context. Current tariff, insurance and trucking matters are mainly ordinary plaintiff-side litigation; one 2026 contract case involving Dayka/Frutura remains unresolved.
Operating Footprint
Reedley / Central California headquarters and farming/packing operations, Southern California commercial presence, Frutura Texas operations and East Coast import/ripening infrastructure in the Philadelphia corridor.
Operations / Hass Programme
Grower, packer, shipper, importer and marketer. Dayka states that it ships more than 15 million cartons of fresh fruit annually across all products. Its dedicated avocado programme provides year-round Hass supply with ripening capability in McAllen and the Philadelphia area and serves retail and foodservice channels.
Peru Relationship
Current 2026 Peru-Hass purchasing is directly confirmed across at least seven independent suppliers. Peru is explicitly identified as an avocado sourcing origin in current company material; the visible programme is broad, multi-supplier and externally sourced.
Company Operations Summary: Dayka & Hackett is a large, established fresh-fruit operator inside the Frutura group with a mature year-round avocado platform, dual-region ripening capability and a notably broad current Peru-Hass supplier book. For Andes Fresh, the opportunity is supported by exact product/origin relevance and clear independent-supplier accessibility rather than by a speculative category fit.

Buying / Transaction Evidence

Current Activity

Current 2026 product-specific evidence confirms repeated Peru-Hass movements from Agricola Cerro Prieto, Westfalia Fruit Peru, Alcoaxarquia Peru, TAL, Inversiones Mosqueta, Inversiones Pirona and Agricola Alpamayo. Historical controlled Y2 evidence records 94 relevant shipments and nine active Peru shippers; the licensed “unit” measure remains undefined.

Origin Relevance / Scale

Historical controlled evidence records Peru at 73,748 undefined units, or 30.7% of Y2 measured activity. Current public evidence independently shows multiple Peruvian suppliers active in overlapping June–August 2026 weeks, confirming a substantial and sustained summer programme without manufacturing an annual tonne estimate.

Observed Shipment Pattern

Current Peru-Hass movements range from roughly 1,200 to 1,920 boxes, frequently in 20-pallet refrigerated/container configurations. Explicit net-weight examples include 19,200 kg, 19,714.56 kg and 23,040 kg. A BOL is not assumed to equal a purchase order.

Supplier Network & Market Overlap

Dayka's current Peru-Hass book is broad and demonstrably multi-supplier. Large incumbents operate alongside smaller/lower-profile exporters, and several of the same Peruvian suppliers sell Hass to competing US avocado buyers.

Agricola Cerro Prieto S.A.
Peru

Major current programme source
Repeated 2025–2026 Dayka Hass activity. The exporter also appears in the wider US avocado supply network, including LGS and other major buyers; no Dayka/Frutura ownership link was identified.
Westfalia Fruit Peru S.A.C.
Peru
Independent recurring supplier
Multiple 1,920-box 2026 movements
Global avocado specialist supplying Dayka and other US avocado importers including LGS, McDaniel and additional major market participants. The relationship is commercial rather than captive.
Alcoaxarquia Peru S.A.C.
Peru
Independent multi-year supplier
Conventional and organic Hass
Current/recent Dayka programmes include multiple pack configurations and both conventional and organic Hass. Wider US market associations demonstrate that the exporter is not exclusive to Dayka.
TAL · Mosqueta · Pirona · Alpamayo
Peru
Independent current suppliers
Additional 2026 programme sources
The appearance of several smaller/lower-profile suppliers in the same current season is strong evidence of supplier breadth and practical entry/rotation. TAL, Mosqueta and Pirona also overlap with other US avocado buyers including Del Rey, Del Monte and Eco Farms.
Frutura related-party context
Peru / Colombia
Potential integrated capacity
Not controlling the observed Peru book
Frutura owns Agricola Don Ricardo in Peru and Montana Fruits in Colombia, but no product-specific 2026 record was established proving Don Ricardo currently supplies Dayka's Peru-Hass programme. Related-party capacity therefore does not negate the clearly visible independent Peru network.
Supplier-network bottom line: The relevant Peru-Hass sourcing structure satisfies the strongest accessibility band: numerous independent suppliers, evidence of smaller/newer programme participants, cross-buyer market overlap and no demonstrated material captive barrier for a qualified independent Peruvian exporter.

Eight-Factor Assessment

F1 · Supplier Accessibility · 15%15/15 · Very Strong
How accessible does this buyer appear to a new supplier, based on the structure and behaviour of its existing relevant supplier base?
Assessment: Dayka's current Peru-Hass programme is broad, open and demonstrably multi-supplier, with both major incumbents and smaller/lower-profile exporters active in the same season.
Evidence: At least seven independent current Peru-Hass suppliers are product-specifically evidenced; Mosqueta, Pirona and Alpamayo appear alongside established suppliers; no current Frutura-owned Peru-Hass flow dominates the observable programme; and several suppliers also serve competing US avocado importers.
F2 · Purchasing Activity & Scale · 15%15/15 · Very Strong
How active and commercially significant is this buyer as a purchaser of the relevant product?
Assessment: Dayka is a substantial, current and sustained fresh-Hass purchaser with a mature multi-supplier Peru programme.
Evidence: Historical controlled Y2 data records 94 relevant shipments and nine Peru shippers, while current 2026 evidence independently shows repeated container-scale Peru-Hass activity from numerous suppliers in overlapping weeks. Exact annual Peru-Hass tonnes remain unquantified, but the observed frequency and physical scale are clearly substantial.
F3 · Commercial Stability & Payment Risk Indicators · 15%12/15 · Strong
How stable and commercially credible does the buyer appear, based on payment, licensing, operating and public-risk indicators?
Assessment: Dayka is a credible, actively trading buyer with Frutura backing and no identified current payment-default or insolvency signal, but the public record is not clean enough for the highest band.
Evidence: Current 2026 trade and Blue Book evidence supports active operations; no current PACA reparation order or bankruptcy was identified. Live current ePACA status was not reproduced, one 2026 contract case lacks full context, a historical DFPI matter exists, and former-management adverse media involving Ralph Hackett is material background without established Dayka corporate fraud. This is not a formal credit report.
F4 · Product & Channel Fit · 15%15/15 · Very Strong
How closely does the buyer's actual business, product range and route to market fit Andes Fresh's fresh-Hass proposition?
Assessment: The fit is exact: Dayka operates a current year-round Hass programme with importing, ripening, distribution, retail and foodservice routes.
Evidence: Current company material lists Peru as an avocado origin; current BOLs confirm conventional and organic Hass; Dayka/Frutura operates ripening in Texas and the Philadelphia area; and the company has the cold-chain and channel infrastructure required for a commercial Hass programme.
F5 · Sourcing Relevance · 10%10/10 · Very Strong
How well does the buyer's observable sourcing pattern align with Andes Fresh's Peru-origin supply proposition?
Assessment: Current Peru-Hass sourcing is direct, repeated and unambiguous.
Evidence: Seven named Peruvian suppliers have product-specific 2026 avocado/Hass evidence to Dayka, with June–August activity and continuity from 2025. Official company sourcing material separately identifies Peru as an avocado origin.
F6 · Shipment / Order Fit · 10%8/10 · Strong
How well do the buyer's observable shipment/order patterns fit Andes Fresh's practical shipment minimum and annual capacity?
Assessment: Multiple representative net-weight and box-count examples support strong practical compatibility with Andes Fresh's supply capability.
Evidence: Explicit net examples of 19.2t, 19.7t and 23.04t sit above Andes Fresh's 10-tonne preferred/minimum shipment, which is not a maximum. The ~800t annual capacity is compatible in principle with container-scale supply. Actual PO structure, partial-load policy and any supplier-specific full-container requirement remain unknown, preventing 10.
F7 · Timing & Supply Fit · 10%8/10 · Strong
How well does the buyer's observable purchasing timing align with Andes Fresh's actual supply window and lead time?
Assessment: Dayka's verified Peru-Hass summer activity overlaps Andes Fresh's strongest supply months extremely well.
Evidence: Current sourcing is confirmed in June, July and August 2026, with July–August 2025 continuity; Andes Fresh supplies March–September and is strongest May–August. Dayka's procurement/pre-book calendar and buyer-side lead time are not public, so shipment dates are not converted into procurement dates and the factor stops at 8.
F8 · Contact Accessibility · 10%10/10 · Very Strong
How easy is it to reach one or more relevant people who could realistically influence or make the buying decision?
Assessment: Dayka provides a directly reachable avocado-specific senior contact plus sourcing and operating backups.
Evidence: Stephen Fink is current President, Table Grapes & Avocados with a direct company email. Tony Calvillo is current Global Sourcing Manager with a controlled direct route, while Kyle Hackett, Crystal Vulich and the main company line provide practical backup/referral paths.
Overall Weighted Assessment
93 points earned across all 100 weighted points. All eight factors are scorable. Independent assessment review agreed with every proposed factor score and approved the assessment without correction.
93 / 100
Evidence coverage: 100% — all 100 weighted points had sufficient reconciled evidence to be scored. This measures completeness of evidence, not score performance.

Opportunity Interpretation

Reasons This Buyer Is Worth Approaching

  • Exceptional supplier accessibility: at least seven independent Peru-Hass suppliers are visible in the current programme, including smaller/lower-profile exporters alongside major incumbents.
  • Substantial current activity: repeated June–August 2026 container-scale Hass movements confirm a mature buying programme rather than occasional trial imports.
  • Exact Peru-Hass relevance: current product-specific transactions and Dayka's own sourcing material independently confirm the origin/product match.
  • Strong physical fit: explicit net-weight examples around 19–23 tonnes are compatible with Andes Fresh's 10-tonne minimum and stated annual capacity.
  • Strong decision-maker access: Stephen Fink's current avocado-specific presidency and Tony Calvillo's global sourcing role provide unusually relevant direct routes.

Points to Be Aware Of

  • Established incumbents: Cerro Prieto, Westfalia and Alcoaxarquia are meaningful existing suppliers, so Andes Fresh needs a clear commercial reason to win programme space.
  • Formal onboarding: Frutura's supplier code indicates structured food-safety, traceability, social-compliance and audit requirements; Andes Fresh's certifications look aligned but do not equal approval.
  • PO configuration unknown: public BOLs show container-scale logistics but do not establish Dayka's preferred purchase-order structure or trial quantity.
  • Procurement calendar unknown: confirmed arrivals align well with Andes Fresh's season, but advance booking and programme commitment timing remain unpublished.
  • Current PACA confirmation absent: no current adverse PACA evidence was found, but live 2026 ePACA status was not independently reproduced.

Contact Notes / Biographical Information

  • Stephen Fink: preferred first route. He joined Dayka to build the avocado programme and now holds Frutura’s title President, Table Grapes & Avocados, giving him direct category authority.
  • Tony Calvillo: strongest Dayka-specific sourcing route. Current company material supports his Global Sourcing Manager role and direct business contact route.
Overall commercial view: Dayka & Hackett is a 93/100 High Priority prospect and, on the current working set, ranks #1 after the controlled tie-break. It combines exceptional Peru-Hass supplier accessibility, substantial current buying, strong seasonal and physical fit, and unusually relevant contact routes. The principal challenge is competitive rather than structural: Andes Fresh would need to displace or complement established suppliers within a sophisticated, documentation-heavy programme. F1 = 15, so the Direct Approach gate is not triggered.

CRM & Outreach File — Buyer Summary

This table is a buyer-level summary so the report remains concise. The accompanying CRM workbook contains a separate row for every usable contact identified for each buyer — including the primary contact, secondary contacts and additional high-value or referral routes. A buyer can therefore appear on multiple rows in the workbook even though it appears only once in this summary table.

Important: “Primary Contact” below does not mean only one contact is supplied. The “Additional Contacts” and “Total Contacts” columns show the wider contact coverage; the CRM workbook carries each usable contact on its own row for import into the client’s CRM.

Sales Outreach

The buyer intelligence becomes a practical, buyer-specific commercial approach.

The action stage
Why This Outreach Is Different

Recommended Best Practice

Launch the campaign promptly, manage it systematically and follow through with discipline.

Send the buyer-specific emails to the full qualified buyer set in one or two organised sessions. Each message should still be reviewed and sent individually.

Launch

Get the full qualified pipeline moving rather than drip-feeding buyers over several weeks.

Manage

Record every initial contact, reply, referral, future buying time and next action in your CRM.

Persist

If one contact does not respond, move to the next relevant contact. If the buyer remains credible, revisit later rather than automatically abandoning it.

Buyer response is inherently unpredictable. The scoring improves prioritisation, but a lower-ranked qualified buyer may engage quickly while a top-ranked buyer may not respond at all.
R4 Sales Outreach Process Flow

If There Is Still No Response

If there is still no response after working through the relevant contacts, do not necessarily discard the buyer. Where the company remains a credible prospect, schedule a later re-approach — for example in three to six months, or at a more appropriate point if purchasing timing is known.

Quick Ways to Navigate

How to reach a specific buyer’s email: use the Master Buyer Table in Part 1 as the single report index. It links to both the buyer profile and the buyer’s outreach pack. Each buyer profile also links directly to its own outreach pack. Once inside Part 4, use Previous Buyer / Back to Executive Buyer List / Next Buyer.

Alternative-Contact Opening

If the primary contact does not respond and you move to the next named contact, change the salutation and use the short opening below before the same substantive body. The previous contact is identified by first and last name for clarity.

I recently wrote to Stephen Fink regarding a possible fresh Hass supply opportunity between our companies. As I have not yet heard back, I thought it would be useful to contact you directly in case this falls within your area of responsibility.

Recommended Next Action

Send the initial email to the primary contact. If there is no response after approximately seven days, approach the next relevant named contact using the alternative-contact opening above. Where a direct or main company telephone number is available, a short call can also help identify the right sourcing decision-maker and likely timing.
